Satay Chicken

Serve with micro rice or noodles and your vegetables of choice. Our favourite is to cook up alongside Farmfoods straight to wok noodles, and frozen stir fry veg. A complete dinner cooked in less than 10 minutes!

How to make:

Add all the sauce ingredients except the coconut milk to a pan and stir to combine.

Turn on the heat to medium, add the frozen chicken and stir for a few minutes until defrosted.

Stir in the coconut milk until you reach your preferred consistency, you’re ready to serve!

Farmfoods Ingredients:

  • 400g of Roasted and Sliced Cooked chicken
  • 1tbsp lemon
  • 1tsp honey
  • 1tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp mayflower curry sauce
  • 3 tbsp peanut butter
  • Approx. 200ml Coconut milk

Can I cook the chicken slices straight from frozen?

A: Yes! Our chicken slices are fully cooked and can be used directly from frozen. For hot dishes, simply add them toward the end of cooking until heated through (approximately 2-3 minutes).

These are quickest to defrost in the microwave, place on a microwave plate on full power for 1-2 minutes. But remember you don’t need to defrost these before cooking, simply add to the sauce frozen to heat through. 

Once opened, use within 3 days for optimal freshness. Keep refrigerated in an airtight container.

While our slices are already cooked, you can certainly add them to grilling recipes! For best results, add them toward the end of cooking just to heat through and get those delicious grill marks, about 1 minute per side.
