Chicken, Broccoli Pesto Pasta

How to make:

Add pasta and broccoli to boiling water, bring to the boil then simmer for 7-8 minutes.

Whilst cooking add oil, onion, garlic and chicken to a pan on a medium heat and cook until softened.

Add the pesto and stir until mixed.

Mix with the cooked pasta and broccoli and stir in a spoon of Philadelphia to loosen the sauce.

Serve with grated cheese and season to taste.

  • 350g pasta
  • 100g diced onions
  • 2 frozen garlic cubes
  • Frozen broccoli
  • Green Pesto
  • Philadelphia

Can I cook the chicken slices straight from frozen?

A: Yes! Our chicken slices are fully cooked and can be used directly from frozen. For hot dishes, simply add them toward the end of cooking until heated through (approximately 2-3 minutes).

These are quickest to defrost in the microwave, place on a microwave plate on full power for 1-2 minutes. But remember you don’t need to defrost these before cooking, simply add to the sauce frozen to heat through. 

Once opened, use within 3 days for optimal freshness. Keep refrigerated in an airtight container.

While our slices are already cooked, you can certainly add them to grilling recipes! For best results, add them toward the end of cooking just to heat through and get those delicious grill marks, about 1 minute per side.
