Add the onions and mushrooms to a pan and cook until softened then stir in the flour.
With the pan off the heat gradually stir in the chicken stock, followed by the milk.
Add the chicken, bring to the boil then simmer for 10-15 minutes until thickened.
Put the filling into a baking or pie dish and leave to cool slightly.
Whist cooling pre-heat the oven to 200°C (fan) and on a floured surface roll the pastry to the size of the dish.
Top the filling with the pastry, brush with beaten egg to glaze, and pierce a small hole in the centre.
Bake for 30 minutes and enjoy!

A: Yes! Our chicken slices are fully cooked and can be used directly from frozen. For hot dishes, simply add them toward the end of cooking until heated through (approximately 2-3 minutes).
Once opened, use within 3 days for optimal freshness. Keep refrigerated in an airtight container.
While our slices are already cooked, you can certainly add them to grilling recipes! For best results, add them toward the end of cooking just to heat through and get those delicious grill marks, about 1 minute per side.
